Welcome from Federica and Maarten. We are available to make sure you have a memorable stay with us – sharing the hospitality and traditions from the Umbrian countryside. During your stay, we can recommend a variety of local tours – outside the well-known touristic attractions – to discover the local myths and unknown treasures.

Pietra Campana is located in one of the most interesting archeological areas in the area of Orvieto, which can be visited also on foot or by car. We also offer walks in the middle of our olive grove allowing you to reach two Etruscan burial grounds: Golini I and Golini II (4th century b.c.) representing testimony of mural paintings which can also be seen at the Museo Archeologico di Orvieto, as well as the tombs of Hescana at Porano which offer fine examples of well-preserved burial decorations.

Guests also have access to a former chapel with 19th century affrescoes, a well-stocked library with books in English, Italian and Dutch, a collection of Cds and DVDs as well as an internal pool with sauna (open in the winter months) with view of Orvieto, and also a selection of childrens' toys. You will also  find a collection of local tourist guides, restaurantand archeological guides. All bathrooms are furnished with natural soaps made with our own biological olive oil.

In the spirit of your visit at Pietra Campana, we can suggest a variety of restaurants, wine cellars, local mills and kitchen gardens as well as local producers of cheeses and other organic products. Upon request, in our own wine cellars we can also organize wine tastings, workshops on the restoration and creation of affrescoes, production of natural soaps, and courses in the local Umbrian cuisine.
